During the two-year project, Promethean, a global education technology company and a member of the NetDragon family, will work with its partners to install the IRBIS by Promethean All-in-One solution in schools throughout the City of Moscow.

The Moscow Online School project’s goal is to equip more than 13,000 classrooms throughout the City of Moscow with latest education technology in grades 5-11. One of the solutions is the new IRBIS by Promethean All-in-One solution incorporating the 86-inch interactive flat panel, OPS and a comprehensive education software. The IRBIS by Promethean solution offers a tablet-like interface with a customizable home screen making it easier for teachers to adopt to the new technology. The solution is convenient for administrators and managers, it is integrated into the infrastructure of the Moscow Online School and provides tools for on-hand management and online monitoring. The Solution’s innovative writing technology provides a natural pen-on-paper experience, so teachers can write precisely and collaborate with ease.
In addition to installing the interactive panels from Promethean in more than 13,000 classrooms throughout the City of Moscow, the Moscow Online School project will also provide more than 53,000 wireless access points to the network and provide over 44,000 laptops to teachers over a two-year period.
Last year, the City of Moscow selected the IRBIS by Promethean to be installed in over 7,600 classrooms. By the end of 2017, the interactive flat panels were installed in one-third of the schools in Moscow, allowing more than 15,000 teachers to engage students with the latest immersive classroom technologies.
